For clarity of purpose, the conclusions are presented as follows:

• "Our assessment finds no areas of environmental concern associated with the subject property and further investigation is not warranted"

or

• "Our assessment finds no areas of environmental concern associated with the subject property except those below."

Should the latter finding be the case, Kd Engineering & Associates will prepare specific recommendations for additional investigation or testing for each area of identified concern. The recommendations will estimate time frames and reasonable completion costs.

The assessments are performed to the highest industry standards, meticulously prepared in accordance with the practices set forth in the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E1527-94 and Illinois Public Act 88-0438. The extensive scope of our assessments meet and exceed the due diligence requirements of the CERCLA Innocent Landowner Defense Act. The report is a privileged and confidential legal document for the sole use of our client and their counsel.
